What is Wellness Coaching

Wellness is ...

taking charge of your own physical and mental well-being and includes focus on nutrition, fitness, weight and stress management, and general health challenges.

Wellness coaching is...

a holistic approach to reaching a higher level of well-being.  Wellness coaching is a trusting and life-changing partnership between me (coach) and you (client) through which you learn to make and sustain life-long changes, with my non-judgmental expertise, advice, guidance, support, and encouragement. 

As your personal wellness coach, I will help you become clear on where you are, where you want to be and how to get there.  I enable change by focusing on your needs, values, vision and goals. 

My only agenda is your agenda.  My only objective is to help you achieve your desires, only this time changes will last!  I truly believe that the best way to understand coaching is to experience it. 

I have set out to help you finally reach those seemingly out-of-reach wellness goals!  It's all about you and what wellness means to you.  Whether you desire to be more energetic and confident, eat healthy, lose weight, manage stress and time, or just feel good about the way you look and feel, I can help you!  All it takes is a commitment to yourself to tend to yourself (as you do to others!) and about half an hour each week with me as your personal wellness coach.  It really helps to have someone partner with you to help you plan and stay on track... as well as encourage and support you all the way!

Have it your way!  You know best what does and does not work for you.  If you feel that you don't, together we will figure it out.  Rather than simply tell you what to do and how to do it, I will guide you through looking within yourself (and finding!) creative ideas and ways to make things work for you.  Imagine being able to get past an obstacle because you took the time to identify potential challenges and arm yourself with ready-to-apply strategies!  That's what I'm 'm talking about!  ...and, that's wellness coaching.

I believe that through wellness coaching, you will do much more than you think is possible, and you will make changes that last.  Give it a try.  You will be thankful you did!
