Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What
is wellness coaching?
Wellness
coaching is a trusting and life-changing partnership between me
(coach) and you (client) through which you learn to make and
sustain life-long changes, with my non-judgmental
expertise, advice, guidance, support, and encouragement.
Wellness considers the "whole" you rather than only
focus on one element such as exercise. It also includes
nutrition, weight and stress management and general health
issues.
2. How
does wellness coaching work?
We will have an
initial 60 to 90-minute consultation during which I will learn
more about you, where you are, where you want to go and how we will
get you there. I will help you develop a vision of
where you want to be (which will help you stay focused), set
goals, identify your motivations (which will inspire you to stay
on track) identify any anticipated challenges and develop
strategies for getting past those challenges.
During the
weekly sessions, we will talk about exciting highlights, your
accomplishments toward your goals and any challenges you
encountered. With compassion, I will provide advice, guidance
support, and encouragement to help you along the way.
I will help you set goals for the following week.
I will
continuously want to know how well you feel our coaching
relationship is working so we can make any necessary adjustments
to ensure you are completely satisfied. I would be
honored to continue our coaching relationship beyond the 3-month
program. We can discuss doing so during our last session.
3. How
much does wellness coaching cost?
The cost varies
depending on your needs but is generally:
$60 - $80 for
the initial 60 to 90-minute consultation and
$40 - $60 for
each weekly 30-minute session.
